WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

I sent in all of my paperwork and I just had the return of my drivers license and original marriage certificate to get my name changed. How long does it take to get a SS card in the mail?

I VISITED THIS OFFICE TO OBTAIN A REPLACEMENT CARD ON SEPTEMBER 11. I WAS GIVEN A RECEIPT THAT I WOULD RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT CARD WITHIN TWO WEEK.. IT IS NOW OVER A MONTH AND MY EMPLOYMENT IS IN JEOPARDY!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Came into sign up for medicare with no appointment. The wait was not too long. I was assisted by courteous, knowledgeable employees who got me through the process with no issues.

I brought my child's ORIGINAL birth certificate to the Middleburg Hts office on FEBRUARY 28TH, it's now April TENTH & I was told that if I left it in the mail slot there in the lobby, for Ms. Brown, who HAD to have this ORIGINAL document, that she would mail it back to me. Guess what?!? It's over a month & a half later & I've still not received it NOR has she sent my child any information pertaining to her father's death benefits. Great job Middleburg Hts! Birth certificates are expensive for a person, such as myself, living on a fixed income to have it replaced.And I can basically keep dreaming that Ms. Brown will ever contact me regarding this matter, being as it's impossible to even get through to the Middleburg Hts. office.

While I understand the frustration of not being able to call the office directly (because no number is listed) we have been to the Middleburg office many, many times and have never had to wait more than 30 min. You don't have to have an appointment. Once you go to the office you will probably get the # of the agent you talk to. Be sure to arrive at least 45 min. before closing time. Seems that's when they are the busiest, but if you've registered when you walk in...they will see you, even if it's after they close. EVERYONE we have ever had to deal with at SSA in Middleburg Hts has been extremely helpful and kind.

Where is the phone number to make an appointment for the Middleburgh Hts. location? I can't give a higher rating until I can figure out how to make an appointment. Does anyone read these comments?
