Overall rating of this office:I visited the Auburn Ca office at noon today. My purpose was to submit a request for withholdings form. I had completed the form and only needed to drop it off. The uniformed "guard"? would not even answer a question. He directed me to sign in. OK did all that for nothing. I finally located the "guard" at the end of the hall, not at the reception desk and asked if their was a drop off box, he pointed and said "maybe if you take off you glasses you could see it". The comment was totally uncalled for and less than professional. Maybe he needs some harassment training or a reprimand.
My financial situation has changed . I'd like to make an appt.
This site doesn't let me speak to an agent, make an appt., etc. Just says to "call back" and hangs up.
Should I just travel to the office in Auburn from Grass Valley and hope to see someone?

Hello. I tried to contact the office on Friday, August 31st at 9:03AM. I thought your phone contact was the same as your work hours (9-4),but found out your phone hours are 7 to 7,m-f. I was on hold from 9:03 to 9:45, never having talked to a real person,only a detached robot saying our call will be answered soon. Is there a better time to contact your office or is this SOP? This is my first time dealing with the SSAdmin so I'm a little concerned about future contact. Is it better to just show up? Please advise,thank you.
