Overall rating of this office:I am lucky I live in El Cajon, California. The SS office here is efficient, friendly, close and far less crowded than some of the others I hear about. The employees are great. too bad all of the SS offices can't be like this one. It would make everybody's experience much more pleasurable.
I went to the SSA office @ 701 5th AVE in Seattle the guard said they don't see "regular customers" there. Who the f**k do I gotta be Luke Skywalker? So I was redirected 5 block away (I disabled hint, hint)to the Federal Bldg which the guards told me closes at 3:30. I gimped all the way there and the Nazis at the front door won't let me in until they do a full rectal exam. Then they tell me, "Oh, they closed today at noon." Why cant SSA keep regular hours like everyone else does? Because they're the f**k'in Nazis that's why!
I was divorced in March, 2015 and need to change my name on my social security card; from Tyree back to Keeling. Can I schedule an appointment at the El Cajon office?
Impractical hours, uncaring employees. Would rather have a root canal than having to deal with Social Security.

The very best staff of any SS office I ever visited. From initial greeting to problem discussions, always courteous and as helpful as possible. Congratulations to management of this office for imbuing the philosophy of helping the taxpayer through every phase of the process. And thank you to all employees for taking this philosophy to heart. A model for every government office and department to follow.
