Overall rating of this office:Melinda is an employee at social security in canon city Colorado. She is the rudest, most unhelpful person I’ve met. She continues for 2 years to inform me that it’s okay to lie about my birthdate information. She will not help me change it quote she says it not a problem to have the wrong birthdate” and tells me to call Medicare. It is not okay to lie about your birthdate. Melinda find another job
Aside from the lengthy wait on line and the OLD recorded music (hmmm) the rep I spoke to sounded very polite and seemed to be knowledgeable. This was nice as many seem irritated when one calls. Thanks

Melinda has been helpful and knowledgeable every time I've spoken with her. She finds information and is clear about what will be happening when. She even answered the phone after closing hours which was extremely helpful for me.
