My wife and I want to apply for Social Security benefits, but are unable to do so online, specifically because we were both born before 1955, and I have started getting my benefit and she has started getting her spousal benefits. I want to sign up to get my spousal benefits and she wants to start receiving her full benefits after her 70th birthday in February.
Thanks
OUR PHONE APPOINTMENT FOR SEPTEMBER 14, 2021 @ 1243 HRS WAS DELETED BY YOUR OFFICE WITHOUT NOTICE. WE TRIED FOR THREE HRS TO CONTACT YOUR OFFICE AND GOT CONSTANT HOLD AND HAD TO CONTACT THE OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL TO FIND OUT THE PHONE APPT WAS CANCELLED. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON YOUR OFFICE.
I've had several calls to your offie and the employees were professional and wonderful = they were a huge help -- i also spoke with your manager who said she was new -- she was also very helpful and took care of my issue immediately.
There is no local office number to call, rather the national number where hold times go over an hour.
Typically run Government office. We waited THREE hours to submit our paperwork. Staff was limited, since it was during the Christmas season. NOT MY PROBLEM!! Run the office like you would a BUSINESS, by appointments only to avoid too many customers. And then certain politicians want a health care system that is run by the Government??? NOT!!! They can't even function in their areas of responsibility!!! Also, we were not aware of the fact that you can only apply three months ahead of time for Plan B. No indication anywhere on the web or form. Poor communication!!! Very cold and patronizing employees in Louisville. Also, the Social Security office website is not current, since it still shows the Boulder office, which was closed several years ago and does not show Louisville.
Trying to verify a name who claims to be from SSA, name left on phone mail was Robert Maxey, phone number left was 1-855-369-5447 ex5003, I live in Erie Colorado, 80516, Phone directory I give a 1, talking to a person 5 stars
why cant I find the local ss office number this other number is useless
I have an appointment at the Louisville, Colorado location and I have lost my appointment. It is in August Can you please let me know the date and time. Thank you very much, Jeff Muskatt
Over the course of the past year I have had to call the Louisville, CO, office several times. The wait time on the phone was very short, if at all, each time. The employees I've spoken with where all very polite, knowledgeable, sincerely helpful, and professional. I agree with other comments about the wait time for the national phone number, however I did find the local phone number online. I don't recall where I found it though and I do think it would be helpful to have it listed on this website especially since Medicare tells us to specifically contact our local office not the national location. My suggestion is to please update the online information so that it is all accurate. Other than that, thank you to the professional, helpful staff in the Louisville CO office.
