While at the office the gentleman working the security desk failed to unarm a man carrying a gun. From that point he continued to engage in a discussion with the man about race and politics. The man and the security officer discussed their opinions that "blacks are trying to over throw whites," as well as other racially and politically insensitive sentiments. When I let the officer know I was feeling uncomfortable he asked me if, "I had even experienced any life yet," laughed at me, said it was none of my business what his name was when I asked who I could report this complaint too, etc.. It's sad that this man is in a government position and it will be disheartening if he is continued to be allowed to work in this location.
