I received a phone call from Social Security Deputy Commissioner Sarah Hernandez saying you all want to suspend my social security number due permanently. Due to some illegal activities.
I received a letter indicating unusual activity on my account and that I need to come in for an appointment. Is this real and what does it mean?
I need to make an appointment at the office to register for social security and medicare. Ineed help.
I need to make an appointment but their is not a number to call.I need to talk about a disability claim in the Rockville,MD office.
Thanks,Rodney
Im about to get married and need to know what all I need to bring with me to change my name on my SSC and also how much is the fee for the new card? Will I receive the card the same day I come to the office? I just want to make sure I bring all documents with me and have all the information you will need to issue me a new SSC with my new married name. I know to bring a copy of my marriage license. I also need to know if I need to make a appointment before I come or if it is ok to just come when I'm ready to get my new SSC with my new name? I look forward to your response.
Nicole
Today 3/07/2019 I visited the SS administrative office in Rockville.
After I stayed in line for two hours I finally got my turn and the chance to speak with the clerk at window 1 in order to apply for retirement benefits ( Medicare).
The clerk told me that I need to set up an account by myself and she’ll help me to aplly for Medicare benefits when I rich that step directing me to the computer aria.
Although I need to confess that I have low computer skills, the computer it’s self was acting giving me and the staff some hard time.
I tried my best to feel up the steps of the application and with maximum of patience I accepted the bulling ( telling me all the time Mam what did you do...)the guidance and info that the clerk gave me with the tea spoon.
Although I asked her to help me to finish the proces of the aplication she told me that I need to come other time.
After 4 hours of patience and try to solve the aplication I left the office totally desipointed and offendet by the attitude of a clerk that tried her best to demonstrate me that I’m not capable to do by myself what she supposed to do as part of her work duties and trushing for hours of my life.
