All local Social Security offices will be closed to the public for in-person service starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020. This decision protects the population—older Americans and people with underlying medical conditions—and SSA employees during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, SSA is still able to provide critical services.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, SSA is asking the public to first try to use online services before calling. If you cannot use these online services, you can find the phone number for your local office by using our Field Office Locator and looking under Additional Office Information. (Note, if you already had a scheduled appointment with your local office, an employee from that office will attempt to call you at your scheduled appointment time.)

I am freaking out because I pay my rent and all bills with my social security check that I’ve been getting no later than the2nd! Google says it’s changed to the day of my birthday and I won’t get it until the 25th. Is this correct? If so I’m going to be homeless and I can’t believe the government would do this!
I am concerned about this last "Adjustment" As I wrote in an Appeal 2 days and had 10 to write it, My only income is disability I have cervical Spine damage and can not look down, my income was suddenly cut from $690. to $120.a month. It will be a life changing event if this continues, such as homeless kinds of things, Please someone see the appeal letter I wrote.
I have been getting a lot of robo calls (4 today so far) telling me that my Social Security has been stopped because there has been fraudulent usage of my card. Pretty sure this is a scam, but still a little worried about my Social Security payments. Is there any way this can be checked for me?
