Phone #'s listed in local phone books are invalid. Having to call the toll free , going thru the recorded automated directions is a total waste of time & then to be told it's over an hour wait time........????? BTW, is there any HANDICAP PARKING AVAILABLE AT JOHNSTOWN OFFICE?
I applied for a replacement SS card on 23 July 2020 and sent it to Johnstown, PA for processing. I have called the Johnstown to check on my request every week from that date. The only answer they can give me is that it has not been processed. I understand that the (COVID-19) pandemic has caused delays. What I don't understand is why no progress has been made on my request. The Johnstown, PA office can't even tell me if my request has been received. I have tried the online services and I get denied. I'm sure it's because I moved from California to Pennsylvania and I still have a CA drivers license. I can't get a PA drivers license unless I have a SS card. My card was lost in the move. Please have someone contact me to resolve this matter. Thank you1
