I called, entered requested info, held for 13:23 minutes and was hung up on.

Your phone system stinks! Half the time when I attempt to call I get a garbled message I cannot understand. The other half of the time I get the phone answering system which not will accept the employee name I enter either by touch entry or voice. When I enter * as instructed all I get is the same recorded message selections. This is not what my tax dollar is paying for. From the looks of the other reviews, your office has a management problem. Maybe I should call your main office in DC or speak to my Congressman? The only reason I am giving this office 2 stars is because when I went in person I was treated promptly and professionally. Too bad your phone system ruined the rating.

Had gone to another SSA office and got information but was treated as if we were trying to commit fraud.
Went to the San Marcos office and were treated with respect and "how can we help you attitude." The application was filled out and we felt so grateful. They were busy so we had to wait to be help but the wait was well worth. Thank you Debra.

I have a Civil Case in the Court of Appeals in Phoenix, Arizona. I have to have access to the Records on file with Social Security in Phoenix, Arizona but, your telephone number has me on hold for nearly an hour so far and I have not been able to talk to anyone and under the new rules I cannot call the Social Security Office in Phoenix. Unless I can reach an Agent of Social Security in Phoenix, today your current system is denying me access to the Courts in violation of my 6th Amendment Rights.

There is no way to talk to anyone at the local office unless you know their extension. And the hold time for the national office is 45 minutes or longer. Poor service!!

I would appreciate if I could find out the status of my application...I was told I would know the answer within 30 days....and it is around 30 days since I applied with Ms. Perry for spousal benefits. I sent the form she requested weeks ago..and now I am waiting to hear back...Thank you

I have been trying to get my Medicare card since August of 2016. It is now January 26, 2017. Peggy Perry and I talked about this in December 2016. We talked again over a week ago. I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY MEDICARE CARD. What on earth does it take!!
