Sent them my Drivers License as instructed with SS form to replace my SS card. almost 10 days before the election OCT 24th 2020.

Got ahold of the Burien office, after being hung up on several times while on hold.
They told me I had put the wrong mailing address (funny because I checked everything before sending). Refused to show me my own handwritten filled in form, and told me it got mailed out..

Had to wait another day for them to call me back with a Mail-Tracking-Number, and had to drive to the post office where it went. The address was TOTALLY different than what was confirmed over the phone, different st, different zip code, everything... Somebody had picked up this from the post office also.

My DRIVERS LICENSE, and my SS CARD are now either lost or in somebody elses posession, that's not reporting it.

This office is responsible for losing my ID, and possible identity theft. Now I have to go through the process of replacing everything, reporting it stolen, and the works. I'm also considering this voter fraud, since I'm not registered as a Democrat, and it seems that what people are doing these days.

I will be filing a report with the police also, and reporting the address given to me through the postal tracking code, which I hope isn't a relative of the employee who sent this out.

I have attempted for over 2 hours to get through to the Burien SS office, and keep getting hung up on while on hold, sometimes on hold for 25+ minutes.

I will pursue a lawsuit if it's possible.

I'm not applying for anything just reporting 646-481-5953 (NYC) suggesting that my account has been suspended due to suspicious activity. I did not respond as this could be a Scam. But I'd like a response from you concerning this. I received this on my cell:206-427-9739 just now. Thank you. RWL.

I read the reviews before my visit today and I was reluctant to choose this office. I am here to say that my experience was exceptional. The agent went above and beyond and I am blessed that she helped me. I spent over 5 hours on hold with the SSA OVER 3 DAYS and they did not help me. She identified the problem within minutes and fixed it! THANK-YOU

I brought my husband to this office to apply for the retirement benefit. we got to the window where the Vietnamese lady served us. We found out that my husband birthdate was not correct. We showed her the driver license and the Citizenship certificate, but she did not accept it. Instead she asked us to go the immigration office to get proves from them.
During the service, she was so rude and unfriendly. I had a question if I can't get the letter from the immigration office, what else do I need? She cut me off before I finished my question. She should not be at the window to serve people who has been working so hard for more than 35 years, and tried to get retirement benefit.
We actually went to the immigration office, and the staff there verified my husband birthdate, but they did not issue any letter or memo to us.
I went to Kent's office. The female staff there was very friendly and helpful. My husband's issue was solved.

The Vietnamese staff should get advices if she has unusual cases to work on.

How do I make an appointment to talk to some one at the Burien, WA office.

I gave one star because I couldn't give negative starts but didn't want anyone to think I just skipped that part.

Is there any policy on returning phone calls in your office, and if so what happens to employee's when they don't return calls? Like never, even over a 6 or 7 week period? I'm curious.

I applied by phone with a woman and she said to go in on May 25th to give them my banking info for DD. Keoki Young made me reapply, with him, but told me funds would start by the next business day. Great! Except here we are - It's now July 7th. We have no money and Mr. Young hasn't returned one of my 5+ voicemails. I don't know if that's normal or not but it's unacceptable from a client's point of view.

I am about to turn 65, so I filed for Medicare. When I was told I would have to pay for part b, I went to talk with a man in the office to file a request for consideration within the 10 day period that was required.

The jerk never filed the paperwork. I do have a copy of it, but now I have to make another long trip to the office to get this taken care of and the ssa is ready to charge me this money that I shouldn't be having to pay.

I am sick of incompetent government workers. I hope you don't get the guy that I got.

I know it's very hard to contact social security. I've tried for 6 days now to file for survivor's benefits. I was in the middle of talking with an agent and we were disconnected. I reached someone later in the week and she told me it was 7pm and she needed to go and hung up on me. I had no idea I was speaking with someone in New Mexico. I went to the Burien office today and people were lined up out the door. I asked if there was another number to call to schedule an appointment and the security person said to call the 800#. Been there. Done that. Is there anyone at the Burien office that can contact me via email to schedule an appointment? I worked with a very nice lady in 2012. I think I will give her a call. Hopefully, she won't be upset we me.

I just received a phone call from someone who said they were calling regarding a loan application. The complete SS# was read off to me, it was not mine. I don't know if it should be reported here but, I'm sure it was a scam, the phone number the call came from was 425-306-5604. Tried calling it back, no one could be reached.

I recently took my mom to the Social Security Office in Burien. Since we have some Medicare questions, I thought it would be better to deal it in person than over the phone.

When it was our turn, an angry middle-age Vietnamese female staff who was supposed to help us, was very unfriendly to us. She talked to us aggressively as if we had somehow pissed her off. Her rude attitude confused us both as we never did any wrong besides asking her questions politely. She then asked me questions that wasn’t related to our issues and unwillingly gave us an answer.

She was not very helpful at all, especially with that arrogant attitude. It was such a waste of time and money for us to travel all the way to the SS office and being treated like criminals. My mom and I left the office feeling prejudiced and discriminated.

I wonder how she is able to get to work there with her miserable and sour attitude towards customers. It is unfair if she hates her job and takes it out on customers. I hope the Social Security Administration Office in Burien would reevaluate this particular employee.

Don't let the little Asian women have any of your paperwork she lost my husbands form from the doctor and now his benefits have been held up. This wonen has done nothing but cause issues for us and I would like her reprimanded.

I was humiliated because I did not know that people's items were searched. I understand wanting to keep weapons out of your office but, what we have in our person effects should not be a hinderance to wanting to better our lives by accepting your help. You offer a chance for us to get back on our feet when we are at our worst. I do not feel the need to have a person thrown in jail just because you find drug paraphanelia upon their person. If they were not exposing it there would not be any knowledge of said item. At least a warning to refrain from bringing next time. Humiliating, scary.
