In January I received an annual monthly pay-out that was less than I received in 2021. I appealed. The reason was that we had retired and sold our 39 year home which was reflected as income. I submitted information and the amount was immediately adjusted. Not so for my wife Leslie Ann McFarlan. Her monthly payment was also affected by the sales of the house. In early February we filed paperwork and backup and hand delivered to the Olympia office. There was no change/adjustment to her February or March payments and we have not heard back from you. What do we need to do? We would be happy to set up an appointment and again supply backup. Please advise.

A big Thank You to Mickey, the Manager at the West Olympia office. He was able to answer my concern, regarding my mother's benefit, in no time at all. What a refreshing response and experience.

My husband passed away and I am told I need an appt with the local SS office. The Nat'l office has a waiting time of 1 hour and 5 min. Why can't I obtain a local office number?

think it is typlical that the government office that has control of my finances in "THEIR" hands chooses to no longerhave the phone as a option to reach them
