My name is Anthony Boykin and on August 8, 2017, at approximately 2:15 pm, I had the pleasure of speaking with Glenda via telephone in ref to my son Ephraim Boykin. I would like to say that she was very knowledgeable and patient. She gave me very thorough instructions and listened when I had questions. She was very helpful and put in extra time and effort to help me to resolve my problem. She was very courteous and she made a stressful situation better because of her professionalism. I felt comfortable and relaxed with her. I know that many people write or call in to complain but I wanted to make sure that you know that employees like Glenda are appreciated. I know that it can be difficult when you work with the public but she spoke to me like I was important and for that I am appreciative.
I was receiving Social Security benefits before I went to prison and they was stopped. I was released on May 15, 2015 and reapplied a week later. My case worker is Mr. Hightower. Mr. Hightower told me that I will be receiving a check on July 4, 2015. Went back to the Social Security Office several times, after long waits in line, and Mr. Hightower and he was either out on vacation or sick. After finally catching up with him he had no answers. Tolld him I called the main office, and said they have no information submitted for Jason Shula. I am getting very frustrated and practically homeless. Two weeks ago Mr. Hightower said he would submit me for emergency funds and as of yet no funds. Went back by Mr. Hightower's office again today and he is on vacation again. Please help!
I called this office twice. The first time was 11-6-2014, and the second time was 11-28-2014, both times a man answered and without any information from me other than telling him I had a Favorable decision letter. These men told me that I had to just wait for an award letter. Without any information from me.This is rude and unprofessional. Oh both times it was at 9:00 A.M and 1:00P.M. Please explain.
Hello, my name is Lloyd Miller and I reside in Australia. I am doing some historical research into my family and am hoping you can assist in providing some detail. My Great Uncle, one William Magnus Linden had two Social Security Claims lodged with your office in respect to him. 1) Ref 65281130990 submitted on 22 November 1976, a Death Claim, and 2) Ref 67001573922 submitted 21 July 1978, a Life Claim, both presumably lodged by his wife Mollie Victoria Linden. The family has been of the view that our uncle (ibid) was a casualty of WW2 whilst serving in the US Merchant Navy, however we have been unable to find records to confirm this. His date of death is recorded as being the 18th or 19th of October 1943. Are you able to tell me if there is anything in records mentioned above that indicates his manner of death or details thereof? If not, are you able to suggest where I might also look further for this information. Your reply to the above email address would be greatly appreciated. Your confirmation of receipt of this email would also be appreciated. Thanking you in anticipation, Lloyd Miller
