Everyone at the local office is nice and helpful - except my case worker. Not only does she not comprehend what an emergency is, but she also does not seem to understand how long 48 hours is. She promises a call-back in 48 hours, but somehow it turns into days, weeks, and even months (no joke) before I get a response. I am human, I do understand that they are massively understaffed and have huge volumes of work to do and limited time to do it in. But when someone says, IT'S AN EMERGENCY, they should at the very least get that promised 48-hour call back.
