All local Social Security offices will be closed to the public for in-person service starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020. This decision protects the population—older Americans and people with underlying medical conditions—and SSA employees during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, SSA is still able to provide critical services.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, SSA is asking the public to first try to use online services before calling. If you cannot use these online services, you can find the phone number for your local office by using our Field Office Locator and looking under Additional Office Information. (Note, if you already had a scheduled appointment with your local office, an employee from that office will attempt to call you at your scheduled appointment time.)

we been in this office on 01/02/2018
We applied for Medicare and spoke with 3 agents. 2 of them was very nice and professional we been really impressed but third one ( elder, with gray hair woman) always raised her voice if I accidently skip some answers. Very tactless and unprofessional. I want to remind her that place where she works its not her own business we taxpayers paying to her to help us with paperwork what we didn't do before.
I waited two and a half hours recently to get to an agent at the window. When I got there with my questions no one knew the answers. I was told a lady who knew my situation would contact me within two weeks. Still waiting.
I would like to know why I have not receive my W2 forms. I am set up to take my taxes Saturday, tomorrow and need them today. Please I work in Crystal Lake at the H S and can stop I my way home to pick the W2 up please let me know. Thank you
