Was suppose to apply Aug 10th, terrible customer service, rep had me so confused and very condescending with me. Didn't apply, instead called back only to say Sept 30th is the only day my app can be taken. Soc Sec customer service has always been great very disappointed with the service on Aug. 10th. Called 2 weeks ago all I hear is Ms Heller will call you back. I have called several times. No help, only she will call you. I have not heard from her and feel I should not have to wait a month to apply for my deceased ex-spouses benefits because of the poor customer ser. I received on Aug 10th. I called and one gentleman told me to contact Mike Turner's office if I am that aggravated over the service. Another said write Ms Heller a letter with your complaint. I am asking to please return my call so that I may get this rectified and get my benefit application processed. This has already put me a month behind. That Aug 10th experience was ridiculous.
