This office will not take phone calls. I've tried several times and continually am placed on hold for 10- 20 minutes, and then disconnected. I need to find the status of IRS form W-4V for withholding. I submitted the form to them in mid-June and no action has been taken.

One star because I couldn’t give Zero. SSA is neck and neck with the VA for worst possible government organization ever created. Phone service is a never ending “circle jerk” of worthless recordings. The employees must be the highest paid hourly workers on the planet as four hours of weekly output pays pretty well. You can’t make an appointment online or on the phone for the (in-person) service required to get even the simplest problem or question answered. Covid is over! Please come back to work or at least pick up the phone and talk from your ever lingering vacation.

Why is the social security behind the times. Paper cards should be replaced with plastic cards ones. I would pay a fee for one. It's a hassle to get a new Paper one when it wears out. Every one else is plastic. Please consider ? changing the the card to plastic. Thank you God bless. Keep up the great wonderful work ? ? ? ? ? bye........

Have tried for 5 days to get someone on the phone! Each time after holding 4-15 mins, get disconnected. What a joke, no wonder half the country hates government.

This office appears to have lost my BIRTH CERTIFICATE and my PASSPORT. Nobody will answer the phone. This office is a waste of space.

Spent 2 hours on hold. It doesn't hold your place in the que either. After 15 minutes it tells you to call back.

They lost a passport card that was sent in.

It took me almost three hours to be seen. But it was well worth it, thanks to Miss Phillips patience, professionalism and expertise. She took the time to explain everything to me and my wife. We felt very comfortable and was at ease during the entire process.

I am working with Randy in the Lewiston SS office. I went in two weeks ago today, made an appointment for him to call me on October 15 - he forgot. I called him on Oct 16 & made arrangements for him to call again on the 20th. We finally connected and he said he had to call one other person and that would take approx. 2 days. Today is the 31st of Oct, I called, got Randy and was very calm and just want information. He became Xtrmely defensive and said that I called him a liar (I did not). I asked to speak to his supervisor as he was becoming emotional and I felt, unable to continue with the call. He put the phone down to talk to his supervisor and came back and said "hello" and then hung up on me. I assume he hung up because there has been no effort to call me back (it was over an hour ago). Suggestion....when you are going to talk to a supervisor about a client put the phone on hold so that the client cannot hear you. Yes Randy.....I am now calling you a liar for jumping to conclusions and putting words in my mouth. Calm down and just do your job. Nobody is judging you, I know your job is difficult but that's not my problem.

I was told to call Miss Grey at this location AT HER DIRECT EXTENSION OF 30832 between 4:30 and 5:30pm today 10/23/14 but when I dialed in, THERE WAS NO OPTION TO ENTER A DIRECT DIAL EXTENSION NUMBER. I have already been on the phone ON HOLD FOR OVER 25 MINUTES listening to an automated attendant with NO WAY to get a LIVE HUMAN so I can get to my party's extension. This is very frustrating and I don't want Miss Grey to think that I did not call her as she directed me to. I have called but can't get through to her. Plus THERE IS NO EMAIL ADDRESS ON THIS WEBSITE FOR THAT OFFICE so I couldn't even send her an email that I was trying to call her so she could call me back. This needs attention and correction.
