In March I sent my passport and certified copy of my birth certificate to the Social Security Administration along with an application to receive a copy of my social security card via USPS Express Mail. SSA returned my birth certificate but my US passport was either lost, stolen or thrown away with the USPS express mail envelope by the Social Security Administration office in Seabrook, Maryland.
I phoned the Seabrook Maryland SSA office it was sent to on 16 May 2019 asking if my SS card could be expedited as it had been 2 months, to be told quite forcefully (& extremely rude!) that they did not know where I had sent my application and documents but it was NEVER received by their office. The letter I received from that same office indicating that they had indeed received my application and certified copy of my birth certificate but insufficient documents to prove identity is dated 14 May 2019.
The patent either ineptitude or corruption of the SSA compounded by rude behavior is unbelievable

Good afternoon I called this office to get verification regarding my daughter medicaid award through SSI, after going through all the menu, I sat on the phone for over 40 minutes waiting on an operator to take my call.

This shows poor customer service, especically when I'm trying to get my daughters medicaid renewed and confirmed.
