Social Security Office Locations

ZERO STARS - used online service for replacement SS card which I paid $37 for and mailed appropriate documentation to SS office in Worthington. I was denied, letter stated I needed to send certain original documentation that was provided with my original mail in request. Called offices, on hold 10 minutes, associate answered my call took my identifying information and put me on hold for 40 minutes at which time I was disconnected. Tried to call back and was on hold for 15 minutes waiting for an associate to answer and was disconnected. If every company conducted their business this way they wouldn't be in business long. Searching for a way to schedule and appointment in person...no such luck, same vicious circle. Next step will be to just show up at the Worthington location WITHOUT an appointment, apparently office hours are fleeting- Worthington location appears to close at noon on Wednesdays, maybe all days.

i vistied the office today and was rudely treated by one of your employees. I live in Plain City Oh and they had wanted to send me to Springfield which is one hr. drive and Worthington is 1/2 hr drive. I choose to come to Worthington in Person. The service person stated i was to go to Springfield and that is why your office is very busy. She said she would serve me after scoulding me for coming there. In the review of my issue she made some errors and in paperwork and did not give me a corrected copy so hopefully she corrected her errors. She took the claim after telling me that is would be no good because of my Ohio Pers windfall balance in the negative. I told her to go ahead then i would have something in writing. I have spent 3 hrs on the phone on this issue and rude treatment by your clerk (she must not be pleased that she has a job). i worked for govt. for 32 yrs and if i had treated someone like she treated me i would have been written up. i visited 6/10/19 11 a.m. appt social ending in . any further questions, please contact me or call I felt i should bring this to your attention. please do not pos

Had a major computer screw up with medicare causing me to loose part B . Called office and waited a while but got thru to a ss representative. Realistic comments of rapidity of correcting the oroblem ,but Laureen was responsive,informtive and responsive. Its scarry to know how big and impersonal ss/medicare is . Was nice feeling somebody cared that the system do what it was suppose to. Appreciative of the professional response as the problem was finally corrected and I was promptly informed of the correction
