I have tried and tried to get my sons updated SS card and I CAN NOT get anywhere with the Gallatin Tennessee office.

Local offices need to be open and available at least for drop offs for paperwork. There is no need for contact. Social distancing can be maintained. Just provide a secured lockbox for paperwork in labeled envelopes to be dropped in.
