I am going to be retiring in Aug/ 2020 and I would like to know if I should apply for SS this yr. I 'm going to be 68 in Aug and that is when I need to set up my SS for Sept. Do I apply now before the end of yr.? I need to know what all I need to do before Sept.1.
Thank You.

August 10, 2019 at about 10:00 am I received a crank call, at least I believe it is, from telephone (206)221-7757 saying that it was the Social Security Administration (SSA) letting me know that my Social Security (SS) has been suspended and that there is a federal litigation against me and that I will be arrested. This coming Monday, I will visit the SSA in the town where I live and report this issue and see if the SSA can do a reverse telephone search on that telephone number and find out who is making those calls. I see that Mrs. Gertrude Minick has received a similar telephone call from a different telephone number; so I believe the SSA should do something about it.

I was left a message to this number 206-278-6463. They said they were suspending my social security number due to fraudulent activity in the state of Texas. I find this suspicious. I hope yu can help me.

Working in between jobs until I can get another classroom as a Special Education Teacher since I've been teaching for almost 20 years. Is there anyway I can get some income coming in since the NCLB has really 'made' a mess in many lives as well as mine? Plus, I've been wearing hearing aids since I was 5 years old. I used to work at the Social Security Office in the south end of Seattle during the late 1970s' with Stanley Friendship.
Sincerely,

Debbie (Johnson) Jackson
