I spend everyday calling about my disability payment and get a different answer everytime my contact person for the KENT office never returns my calls or my SSDS agency calls I am not sure if Ms Gibbons even works there its so fustrating
I telephoned this number today, May 08 2019 at approximately 8:15 this morning. I answered the recorded questions and agreed to stay on the line in order to speak with an employee in 21 minutes. Unfortunately after I had waited for four minutes I was disconnected!
I would like to start receivied my SSI benefits. I started on-line but have a question answering the question when would I like to start? The 2 dates are prior to my full retirement age DOB how do I answer this question? I've called and the hold time is 55 minutes, no opportunity to leave my number for a return call. I would to email and request an appointment is this where I do that?
Need to speak with agent ASAP today
I am upset because I went to the social security office early in the morning and waited in a long time to get my son and I's social security cards and they never came to the address we were staying at. I tried to call and I have a job. They keep putting me on hold for 40 minutes and I am a receptionist.
Mrs. Roberts was most kind and professional helping me do what is right and proper, learning more about my Social Security Disability as I move forward. Thank you, Mrs. Roberts.
I was to have a phone interview this morning at 9:00 am. It is now 10:45 and still waiting. I have an appointment now and have to leave. I called yesterday and was on the phone for over 11/2 hours. I know you are really busy but I am so frustrated. I needed to get my issue taken care of. Thanks!!!
Went to Kent WA social security office. Just wanted to say the guard was very helpful and courteous.
this is a joke.
I am trying to find the number to the local office in Kent, Washington.
every link I click on, takes to my web pages like this, they only list the Nat'l phone number.
I can not find a link or web page that will provide me with the phone number to the local office!!!
I went to the office yesterday with no appointment. The guard was very rude. After I signed in I wanted to ask a question about how the line works and if everyone inside is guaranteed to see someone before they close since it says the office is open until 3pm and it was 2:15pm at the time. He said I need to see your purse and I said I have a question he said I can't answer any questions. For all he know I was going to ask where the bathroom was. If he can't answer any questions then why is he the first person you talk to after you register in the computer. I told him he was very rude, gave him my ticket, and said I was leaving. Before I got out the door several other people came in and he told them he had made lots of signs and they needed to read them. I will not return to this office after being treated this way and watching him treat others with no respect.
These offices not only DO NOT share information between different branches AND WASHINGTON DC main office. Which by itself is ridiculous & something that shouldn't be happening in the 21st century, or even the 20th century.
But they are also still closed to the public here in Kent, meaning you can't get anything done, a crime with something so important as social security matters.
If gas station and grocery store clerks can go back to work for minimum wage, so can government employees whose lives are in their hands!
